Jennings Seat in Middlesbrough has won the franchise’s national King of Leon competition which challenged dealers to come up with the most original customised Leon model using the brand’s newly launched Sports Styling Kit.
The winning entry, dubbed S-Tech, was masterminded by Jennings Seat’s franchise manager Craig Johnson (pictured with the winning car) whose team took a Leon FR 2.0 TDI 184 PS, finished in Alor Blue, and added a rear bumper, diffuser, twin rear exhausts and side skirts from the styling kit, plus 18-inch wheels painted gloss black with matching wing mirrors, spoiler, number plate surround and front valance. The car was finished off with twin black viper stripes.
The interior includes an oddments holder from the official Seat accessories line and an iPad.
Jennings, which will offer its S-Tech trim to customers, said the makeover cost £2,000 over and above the retail price of the car, which it said represented a £1,500 saving on the cost of all the individual parts.
